In classical ballet it is the highlight. With Kristalleon the Pas de Deux becomes Pas de Bleu, a fantastical light ballet danced by two Venetian princepesse in noble Empire style costumes. Each has 1000 blue lights in hooped skirts, décolleté and hair. It's as if the enchanting Lightingale had suddenly been duplicated – in order to doubly capture the audience.
